Over the years, we’ve had the honor of shooting a few other photographers’ weddings; and, to be honest, it’s always a little nerve-wracking! We feel so honored that other photographers trust us enough to put their cameras down for one of the most important days of their lives. Up until this point, all of our photographer clients have been brides, but this was the first time the photographer was the groom. Tyler is an unbelievably talented fashion photographer in L.A., so the fact that he gave Quinn the thumbs up when she suggested us to him, well, it meant the world. Quinn and Amy danced together back in the day, so it was like a fun mini-reunion for her. The day was full of so much emotion and joy.
In Tyler’s vows, he said people often ask him about his photographic process. Out of all the photographs he takes, how does he know which one to pick? During every shoot, there are so many photographs to choose from that it would seem impossible to narrow down to the very best image. His response? When he takes the photo, he just knows. It’s a gut feeling. One he can’t describe. He feels it in his soul. And THAT is how he feels about Quinn.

Quinn and Tyler, from the moment we first talked months ago until the night we said goodbye at the reception, you never lost your focus on the two things that matter most: your love and the people you love most. That came through so clearly during every second of every minute of every hour of your wedding day — and we were so blessed to be part of it. Thank you for trusting us with documenting the most important day of your life. We hustled hard — and then some — so you could take the day off and be totally present for everything and everyone else, and we hope you love re-living these moments through our lens as much as you enjoyed seeing them through your own eyes.
