Bryan called us last month. He was about to take a step. A big one. You see, a few years ago, he met the love of his life — Jaime — and for the past few years, they’ve been sharing Sundays with each other. But they haven’t had Sundays to themselves, because they’ve been sharing them with a lovable youth group of high school kids they pastor together at their church. The kids had been such a special part of their journey together, Bryan told us, that, for as much as he wanted this Sunday to be their Sunday, he couldn’t imagine it without the teens they spend time with every Sunday. So, Bryan put a plan into place to make it happen. The youth group girls Jaime poured into week after week surprised her with a trip to the mall. For a new dress. Some sparkling jewelry. Professional hair and makeup. Like the cute little birds who dressed Sleepy Beauty for her prince, they made sure she was dressed to the nines for hers. A short walk away, Bryan awaited her arrival, his princess, his soon-to-be-queen. He wasn’t nervous. Not a bit. He was ready…
… for the moment he’d been dreaming about all those Sundays.
After Jaime had a second to register what was happening…
… she gave Bryan an emphatic YES!
And he lifted her up and held her in his arms like he was the luckiest, most blessed man in the entire world.
And then gave her a promise in a box that she’ll wear on her hand forever.
But there was even MORE to the surprise than she realized!
We timed Bryan’s proposal so we could do a full engagement session with them right after she said yes!
Jaime couldn’t believe it at first, but it also didn’t take her and Bryan long to get comfortable with each other in front of the camera…
… and with the idea of forever.

And how she turned it on so well for the camera just minutes after one of the biggest surprised of her life is beyond us!!
We all had a good time laughing, too! Bryan and Jaime fit so perfectly together, like two pieces of a puzzle! And can we talk about her hair in that light for a second?!
