The time set aside for portraits of just the bride and groom is one of our favorite parts of the whole wedding day, and is also one of the most important for our couples. As a bride, you make a lot of important decisions about your big day, and sometimes it can feel like there just isn’t enough time to squeeze it all in. Our best advice? Don’t overlook portraits! Scheduling enough time for bride and groom portraits is critical, which is why we help all of our couples build a timeline that ensures they get everything they want out of their wedding day. With that said, here are three reasons why you’ll want to make sure you build in enough time to capture your first moments as husband and wife…

Think about your future husband and your future home. Now stop and smile. You’re getting married soon! Of all the photos that’ll adorn your new home’s walls, the portraits of you and your husband will be the most important, so make sure you have enough time to make the most of them.

Since the bride and groom portraits are some of the most important ones, you’ll want to have plenty of variety.
