Not many places hold captured and sacred memories like someone’s childhood home. For Calvin, his childhood home was a certified historic home built in 1904, ten years before Arizona even became a state. What better place to marry your future wife than a place with so much history? Calvin & Hannah said “I Do” on his childhood front lawn, and Hannah and her bridesmaids giggled down the same halls Calvin ran through as a little boy. Their historic estate wedding was featured on Bridal Musings today it gives us goose bumps remembering each part of their day.
Hannah & Calvin turned this historic home into a southern inspired outdoor wedding, decked in lush florals from Angelic Grove and rustic table settings. They incorporated their Jewish faith with a custom chuppah on the front lawn, and we even got to take some of their portraits on the tire swing Calvin spent his boyhood swinging on. There wasn’t a moment of their day that wasn’t perfectly thought out to represent the two lives they were now merging as one.
And then it happened! Hannah took off her stunning tulle skirt to reveal a lace cocktail dress to dance the night away. Under the same stars where she first met Calvin when he knocked on her door with a lost puppy one night. Like a fairytale romance.
Hannah and Calvin, we hope you never forget those stars. Your lucky stars. The stars that brought the two of you together that night. And the stars that surrounded you as you celebrated your love and marriage. When you’re 90-years-old, sitting on your porch hand-in-hand, never forget to look up at those stars and remember how good they’ve been to you. We love you both so much and were so honored to be capture these moments.
