Wowza! Do we have an engagement session for you today! Landry and Chris are getting married this month and we were SO excited to get them in front of our cameras before the big day! They’re getting married at El Chorro, one of our favorite wedding venues in town, and have Danielle Goettl of Outstanding Occasions planning what is sure to be an event of the year!

For their engagement session, we got to photograph somewhere brand new: Silverleaf Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. We only live a few minutes away from here and, believe it or not, we’ve never had the chance to shoot an engagement session here! Well, that changed a few weeks ago with Landry and Chris’s session — and all we keep telling ourselves is, How did it take THIS LONG to shoot at this magical place?! It’s like a combination of Tuscany and Greece infused with a little Arizona desert magic. From the arches and cobblestone to the way the light dropped behind the mountains and against the saguaros, it was, in a word: perfect. Also, there were olive trees.
Did you hear that?! They had olive trees, you guys! It was music to Jordan’s Greek little heart. He felt like he’d been transported to the motherland. Opa! Landry and Chris, we loved laughing with you, so much that we didn’t care that our cheeks hurt for hours after your session — and it got us SO excited to be alongside you for the big day in just a few short weeks. It’s going to be one to remember! Until then, keep smiling. Keep giggling. Keep just being, well, you. Because that so much more than enough.
