We had a rare weekend off this past weekend and got to spend a few days with two of our dearest friends from the east coast. Anna and Caroline stayed with us for a new round of the Demos Desert Tour, and we spent our days just soaking up tons of quality time together. Lots of laughing, acai-bowl-devouring, late-night-conversing, desert-home-touring, poolside-working and even some Beyonce-moves-dance-partying. It was so good for the soul. Whenever we get to spend time with out-of-town friends, we’re also reminded how unique Arizona is and how much we love shooting in our hometown. Especially during golden hour!
That’s where today’s post comes in! Last week, we got to meet up with Kirsten and Greg, who are getting married in Hawaii this fall. Before they head off to Maui in just a few short months, they wanted engagement photos right here at home. These two cuties met at ASU (Amy’s alma mater!) and have been inseparable ever since. It was so fun getting Kirsten and Greg in front of the camera, especially since they were up for some serious off-roading. Kirsten didn’t even flinch as she gracefully walked in high heels and a floor-length through a rocky wash, tall overgrown grass and all kinds of unstable ground. It was so impressive, and she did it all with the sweetest smile! It seems like it’s officially safe to say that the resulting images were more than worth it!
Kirsten and Greg, we had so much fun with you two. Thanks for being up for adventuring through all kinds of terrain with us, and for laughing through your entire session. It was such a privilege to capture all the love and joy you two feel. Our only regret is that we can’t be there to watch you say “I do,” in Maui and do this all over again, but we loved creating these memories together. We hope you enjoy a few of our favorites today!
