We jumped for joy this week as one of our favorite spring couples was featured on one of the most popular national wedding blogs! Reliving Sabrina & David’s Montelucia wedding on Strictly Weddings was a strong reminder of something David said in his vows. He told Sabrina that his vows weren’t a promise, but a privilege. And that’s exactly how we feel and felt about capturing their wedding day. It was a privilege to be there for the quiet moments of preparation, to the big moments of celebration. As photographers, we get to witness moments on a wedding day that few see. The moment when the bride sees herself in her wedding dress for the very first time as she is about to marry the man of her dreams. The momentous breath the groom takes right before he turns around to see his bride. The first glance the bride and groom have of each other as the bride rounds the corner for her first look. These moments aren’t just special. They’re a privilege.
The lush ceremony and glamorous reception were designed and planned with no detail to spare by the incredible Whitney Lewis with Some Like it Classic. Every time we get the chance to work with Whitney and her team, we are more and more impressed by their professionalism, amazing design talent, and their hearts of gold.
And can we talk about the florals? From the draping greenery set in the ceremony space, to the overflowing blush and ivory centerpieces, Lux Florist created a fairytale like atmosphere to compliment Whitney’s impeccable design.
Thank you to Strictly Weddings for falling in love with Sabrina & David’s day just as much as we did. And an even bigger thank you to Sabrina & David for allowing us the privilege to become part of their family on the most important day of their lives.
