Happy Friday, friends! We’re working away today, and wanted to share a few things that have been brightening our week with you!
Candles from Anthropologie
We loooove burning candles, and recently, a sweet friend of ours gifted us a candle from Anthropologie that is literally the best smelling candle we’ve ever experienced in our entire lives! I mean, we’re pretty sure they must sprinkle just a dash of crack in these candles because we have become total addicts. Our most recent morning routine has us listening to our favorite worship music while we sip our coffee, and the aroma from the Capri Blue candle is the cherry on top of our perfect kind of morning.
Starbucks Field Trips
This is the longest stretch that we’ve been in town since we can remember, and we’re taking full advantage of it! It’s been so nice to be home long enough to have fresh groceries in our refrigerator, and we’ve been extremely intentional about stacking our days, which has helped us get so much done, but it also means we’ve had days where there is actually not one single reason to leave our house! Except for one of our biggest weaknesses: the Starbucks around the corner. Combine that with our gift cards from Christmas, and this is one addiction that’s prompted more spontaneous field trips to get two hot skinny vanilla lattes with half the pumps (say that three times fast!) than we’d like to admit. We’re each other’s worst influence because once one of us suggests a little coffee outing, the other can’t resist. Oh, and we don’t just suggest it. We sing it. Special Projects
‘Tis the season for special projects! We are working away on quite a few special projects of our own right now, like two gorgeous styled shoots for our very first round of workshops that are coming up in just a few weeks (so excited about those!) and decorating our home, which a bigger task than we ever imagined (can’t wait to share pictures soon!) We never anticipated hosting two workshops in a row, but when the first one sold out within minutes, we made a split second decision to open another one, and we are so glad we did. We cannot WAIT to hug our incredible group of attendees from over ten different states and have been working like crazy for them! We also have a super special project that we can’t talk about yet, but we will be able to spill it all next month, so stay tuned for that! In the meantime though, we are celebrating with some of our dearest friends who have been hard at work on their special projects. Our sweet friend, Katelyn James just launched an entire new brand yesterday, and we are in love with it! Anddd, next week, our sweet friends Justin & Mary are launching their new brand on Thursday, and the anticipation is absolutely killing us! We know it’s going to be uh-mazing, just like them, so we’re counting down the days. This season is a serious explosion of awesome, and we can’t get enough of it! So much so that we’re using awesome as a noun. We’re feeling that wild!
