Happy Wednesday, friends! We’re so excited share Erikka and Bryson’s Arizona Biltmore and Wrigley Mansion (yes, the gum family) wedding with you today! You may remember these two from their engagement session in the University of Arizona’s football stadium last winter that was featured on The Learned Bride as its first ever published engagement session! We’d been looking forward to this one for months and months, and we almost couldn’t believe it when we walked in and saw Erikka and Bryson in their getting ready rooms last Saturday morning. Erikka was a sweet as could possibly be all day long. She kept checking on us to make sure that we had plenty of water, had eaten, and were having a good time. She even sat us with her guests during dinner! That’s not the first time that’s ever happened, but it doesn’t happen often, so it’s a real treat when it does! All day we truly felt like family. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, Erikka, Bryson, their bridal party, families and friends made us feel so loved and welcomed.
The day started at The Arizona Biltmore for getting ready photos and the first look, and then we headed over to The Wrigley Mansion for portraits, the ceremony, and the reception. Both are classic Phoenix properties that — by our standards — have real historical and sentimental significance for the city. Both locations were the perfect choice for this bride and groom, because they’re both incredibly classy in every way, from the decor choices they made to the way they treated every member of the creative team who made the day happen, they’re a true class act. The hardest part about having the best clients in the world, like them, is that we only get to shoot their wedding once!
Erikka and Bryson, it seems like ages ago (about 14 months, in fact!) that we settled in for a cup of coffee at a local shop, heard your story for the first time, and talked all things wedding. We were so honored to walk through this process with you and we feel so fortunate to now call you friends. We love you both and love your wedding photos so much. It was almost impossible to narrow down our favorites for the blog! We hope you love them as much as we do. Big hugs to you both!
