Have you ever had more than one camera pointed at you at one time? Maybe it was a string of your friends’ iPhones or an overwhelming line of family members at your most recent holiday gathering? We all know the feeling. It’s loud. It’s uncomfortable. It’s chaotic. And as soon as the cameras point in your direction, you’re just not sure where to look.
Now take that feeling, and multiply it, times FORTY!
Swap your friends iPhones for massive DSLRs, and swap that handful of family members for over FORTY professional photographers, and now you’re standing in Matt and Alexa’s shoes.
Matt and Alexa so graciously helped us teach a class at United, an international photographers’ conference in Santa Barbara, by volunteering to be our engaged couple, so that we could demonstrate posing, interacting with clients, and how we run an engagement session from start to finish. They were incredible troopers (not to mention gorgeous humans) and made us look good, even in the middle of all the chaos. On Thursday, we’re going to share some behind-the-scenes photos to give you an idea of how truly amazing these two are for putting up with a heard of photographers firing their cameras at will and yelling, “Over here! Over here!” but for now, we just want to share a few of our favorites. They put up with our crazy antics, our posing requests that must have sounded insane, and our strained voices as we tried to speak over the sea of crashing waves and clicking shutters. And yet, in the midst of all the noise and all the chaos, they made us believe they were the only two people on the planet.
