You know those people that just make you smile every time you think about them? That is Jody and Rich. They are such a sweet couple, and we’ve been counting down the days until we would get to spend time with them in person after we first met with them on Skype. Jody and Rich are based in Dallas, Texas, but are planning a beautiful wedding in Phoenix at the Royal Palms, one of our favorite venues here in the valley, just next month. When we realized that our teaching schedule was going to bring us to their home state before their big day, we couldn’t have been more excited to squeeze in their engagement session. We l-o-v-e getting to shoot in new places. It just makes our little photographer hearts so happy! It was also the perfect way for Rich and Jody to incorporate a little bit of home into their photos, and a great excuse for us to shoot in a Texas sunset. We are so thankful for clients who trust us when we do crazy things like pull off to the side of a busy road and say THIS IS PERFECT! We probably seemed slightly insane, but they trusted us anyway, and we just love how these photos turned out. Jody and Rich have a love for each other that is joyful, rich and so, so sweet, and we’re counting down the days until we get them in front of our cameras again!
