Do you ever just get one of those feelings deep down in your soul? Excitement. Spontaneity. Romanticism. Everything you feel when you’re with the one. That paradox of jitters and the comfort of home all wrapped into one. This was exactly what was running through Arynn as she contacted me and explained her and her fiancé’s plan to elope. They met in Idaho, and after a long engagement and a move to Arizona for Devron’s career, they just didn’t want to wait another minute to spend the rest of their lives together as Mr. and Mrs. With only two days to find a dress and a pastor, Arynn did the impossible: pulled off a breathtaking wedding in the blink of an eye. We had the honor of capturing their intimate ceremony at The Boojum Tree and their first few hours as husband and wife. Here is a little glimpse into Arynn and Dev’s romantic elopement.
Arynn and Devron’s faith is the most important part of their relationship and played an instrumental part in their wedding day. They wanted to pray together before their First Look.
As Arynn made her walk down the aisle and turned the corner, you could hear Devron holding his breath in anticipation of hearing his bride’s footsteps.
We just love this shot of Devron’s expression right before he turned around.
Their first moments together were so sweet and emotional.
Pastor Randy Williams is one of the best we’ve ever seen. He led a beautiful ceremony for Arynn and Devron. Every time we shoot one of his weddings, we can’t help but get goosebumps.
Jordan grabbed this shot of Devron wiping away one of Arynn’s tears during the ceremony. One of our favorites of the day.
They broke bread and took their first communion as husband and wife together.
Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Prescott:
We got to spend some time taking portraits around The Boojum Tree. Arynn and Dev were stunning.
Girl knew how to work it.
Proof that somebody thinks we’re funny!
Everywhere you turn at The Boojum Tree, there’s another great spot tucked away to take advantage of.
Um hello, can you say MODEL? Arynn, you are radiant.
We just LOVE the way the light snuck over for our last moments at The Boojum Tree.
Before the sunset, we followed Arynn and Devron to the Hyatt Gainey Ranch to capture their romantic ride on a gondola.
As a final send off, Arynn and Devron set up a butterfly release. It was the perfect way to end a perfect evening.
