Light. Light. Light. We have a love affair with great light. Whether we’re out on a date or shooting a wedding, we can’t help but talk about it. And nothing gets our photographer juices flowing more than wedding portraits during the golden hour. When the sun starts to meet the horizon, when skin tones get creamy and when the trees seem to glow. That hour before the sun sets is pure magic.

As we were looking through Emily and Jason’s portraits shot alongside the always amazing Sam McConkey, we were reminded why we will never lose our infatuation with the golden hour.
