“Wanna go on an adventure?” I texted Traci. Lucky for me, she did! One of my goals for this summer is to get myself better aquatinted with this beautiful valley of the sun,the one I grew up in, and the one I’m still learning so much about, to find new stellar locations for clients. “Scouting” is the word I came up with to describe driving around, turning down roads never traveled, and crossing my fingers that I find something cool. Our first scouting trip was a huge success! We found a gorgeous location that was perfect for Michelle and Evan, an adorable engaged couple, who I will post about soon, and we also found this middle-of-nowhere location that I fell in love with. Poor unsuspecting Traci didn’t realize I was going to beg her to be my model once we found a cool spot, so I could get a real feel for the location, but she willingly obliged, and I have to say, we had a blast. We hopped fences, braved steep hills, pulled thorny nature off our behinds and congratulated each other on all our great finds. It was a perfect day.
