I am so excited to share this post because this shoot has been in the works for such a long time! Kelly contacted me months ago to tell me about an idea she had for a surprise trip for her fiancée, Ryan, from their home in Falls Church,Virginia all the way to Scottsdale, Arizona for an engagement session. I jumped at the chance to be a part of such an exciting surprise, and by the time I finally met Kelly the day of the shoot, it felt like we had been friends for years. Kelly meticulously planned every detail of the trip, and even had a gorgeous dress custom made by Coral’s Bridal for the occasion. Focal Point Salon did an amazing job on her hair, and really, from her hand-crafted earrings to her fabulous Louboutins, every styling choice was perfect. And not only were they gorgeous, these two were so much fun to shoot. They just oozed confidence and sizzled in front of the camera. My only regret is that they don’t live in Scottsdale…yet! Ryan and Kelly, thank you for making the trek all the way out here to Scottsdale and braving this not-so-ideal weather. If anything, I think we all now know who we can blame for this heat wave!
